Our Journey :
Spreading Kindness, One Click at a Time
We are Adi and Anuj, brothers and high school students with a shared passion for making a difference. Driven by the desire to spread kindness, we set out to find a way to do so.
Growing up, our family made giving a big part of our lives. Instead of traditional birthday parties, we'd visit schools for the blind or buy food for orphanages. Year after year, without fail, we performed charitable acts to honour the memory of our ancestors and family members who are no longer with us physically, but their legacy shaped our lives and inspired us. Whether distributing meals or donating non-perishable food items, we have supported charities that feed the needy, empower women and house the elderly. These experiences made us empathetic and showed us how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
But we noticed that even though people want to help, connecting with those who need it is not always easy. This gap became our driving force—the missing link we wanted to bridge. Inspired by our experiences, guided by our parents, we created Generous Hands, where thanks to technology, donors and charities can come together easily.
On a similar note, in 2020, we created Thinking Youth (www.thinkingyouth.life), a website that provides a reliable, supportive community for teenagers. Initially focused on COVID-19 information, we expanded based on feedback from 200 teens to include mental health, physical well-being, school, and future planning. We believe that "Together We Can."
But it's not just about the websites. It's about spreading hope, kindness, and unity. Every bit of work we do is a step towards making the world a better place, one click at a time.
We focus on the good in a world where negativity can be overwhelming. We truly believe that even the tiniest ripple of kindness has the power to create waves of change. At Generous Hands, our motto is simple: connecting hearts, linking causes, and creating impact.
Join us on this incredible journey of empathy and empowerment. Together, let's rewrite the story of giving, leaving behind a legacy of compassion that resonates through the ages.
