For Charities:

• Eligibility: To be listed on our platform, charities must complete the application process and be approved by Generous Hands.

• Compliance: Charities must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and provide accurate information about their operations, financial status, and impact.

• Transparency: Charities are required to regularly update their project details and impact reports to maintain transparency with donors.

For Donors:

• Donations: Donors can make monetary or in-kind donations to listed charities. All donations are final and non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

• Verification: Donors should conduct their due diligence before making donations. Generous Hands verifies listed charities to the best of our ability but does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information provided by charities.

5. Prohibited Activities
Users of Generous Hands agree not to:

• Engage in any fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive activities.

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.

• Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise offensive.

• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or servers connected to the platform.

 

6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Generous Hands platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Generous Hands or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without express written permission from Generous Hands.

7. Limitation of Liability
Generous Hands is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or any donations made through the platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided by charities.

8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Generous Hands, its officers, volunteers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the platform or violation of these Terms and Conditions.

9. Termination
Generous Hands reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms and Conditions or is harmful to other users of the platform, us, or third parties, or for any other reason. Generous Hands is not liable or required to provide any justification for termination of accounts.

10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bengaluru, India, where Generous Hands operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or case must be brought exclusively in the courts of Bengaluru, and any legal notice can only be served in those courts.
